Tokyo, Japan—Tosoh Corporation launched domestic sales for the chemiluminescent enzyme immunoassay analyzer, AIA-CL300 as a compact version of AIA-CL systems, on September 28, 2022. Preparations for a global sales launch are presently underway. The AIA-CL system utilizes chemiluminescent enzyme immunoassay*, with the large size AIA-CL2400 and the semi-large size AIA-CL1200 systems already available. The launch of the AIA-CL300 allows for more flexible options that meet the requirement for measurement objectives in locations where space is limited. Tosoh Corporation will continue in its efforts to better respond to diverse needs on the front line of clinical research.
*Chemiluminescent enzyme immunoassay (CLEIA) is a technique that measures trace components in samples based on antigen-antibody reactions. It has many applications, such as aiding in the diagnosis and monitoring of diseases.
